If you like to gift unique and artistic presents to your friends and family you should head over to the Foothills Art Center. At the center you will find more than 80 Coloradan artisans. Each of these skilled workers has brought their particular craft to this incredible holiday bazaar that takes place from November 14th through December 31st.
Ice Skating at Belmar
Perhaps you don’t want to go shred up the slopes but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a few rounds at the ice skating rink. Bring your friends or your family and enjoy some of the specials they have going from November 19th through January 31st.
Germany is world renowned for its incredible Christmas markets. Now you can visit one right here in Colorado! Stroll through the market and take in the wonderful wafting smells of spiced wine, listen to the cheery entertainment, and buy some incredible gifts for the ones you love. This is the only authentic German market in all of Colorado so make sure you stop by. The market is open from November 20th through December 23rd.
Chatfield Farms Trails of Lights
Nothing says Christmas more than colorful twinkling lights. Here you can wander the beautiful Denver Botanic Gardens taking in the shining light displays they have created. There are multiple paths to choice from depending on the amount of time you have available. If you’re visiting with kids there is even a path that will take you straight to the children’s playground. Walk the path of your choosing and enjoy the lush greenery that has been decorated to the 9’s from November 27th through January 2nd.
Zoo Lights takes over the Denver Zoo from December 4th to January 3rd. Increasing in size each year, you can expect more than 70 acres of colorful twinkling animal sculptures. The kids love walking around the animal exhibits to see which sculpture will come up next. During the event you can take in various forms of entertainment, visit Santa, and enjoy the camaraderie that happens at Christmas time.
